Good for you. I hope your plan works out the way you intend. Once I learned TTATT, I had an exceptionally hard time even making it through an entire meeting. I did a fast fade and told my teen I wanted us to attend the memorial last year and then she didn't have to go again. She was thrilled.
This plan worked for us as all of our family lives out of state. Having a set date helps many people and also keeps you sane as you know there is an exit plan.
We run into witnesses often as we were part of several different congregations. They each act friendly and polite, without asking where we've been lately, which is actually strange to me, as I prefer not having fake relationships. Other than two texts and one phone message (after a year of not attending) just looking for our time, we've been left alone. I hope you have a similar experience.
